歌の女神"ディーバ"ことシンシア・ホーキンスを演じるのは本物のアメリカ人オペラ／ソプラノ歌手。 劇中の「ワリー」「アベ・マリア」とも彼女が実際に歌っている。 フィラデルフィア出身。高校時代が歌い始め、その後奨学金を得ながら Philadelphia Academy of Vocal Artsを経て Julliard School of Music in New Yorkへと進んだ。
